Operational Overview

HDL operates a state-of-the-art distillery equipped with advanced technology to produce premium-quality spirits that meet international standards. Its 30 KLPD distillation plant, designed by KATZEN (USA), has a production capacity of approximately 6 million litres of Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA) annually. Quality assurance is maintained through its modern in-house laboratories, accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), India. While production experienced a temporary slowdown during the COVID-19 pandemic, operations have steadily recovered in line with market demand. Supported by an extensive distribution network and a strong presence across both off-trade and on-trade channels throughout Nepal, HDL continues to strengthen its market position through a customer-focused approach, efficient supply chain management, and a commitment to delivering high-quality products to consumers nationwide.

Code Of Conduct

HDL has a code of conduct that applies to all staff and suppliers. The code is intended to ensure a minimum standard of behavior of employees, with stakeholders, and with the market. It aims to ensure a uniform approach to behavior of all staff to safeguard and enhance company image, and to foster a sound professional working relationship within the company and a respectful and harassment – free (including sexual harassment) workplace. Non-compliance with the code is investigated and could invoke disciplinary actions.
